5:30 AM
Got off at Mandi House/ Himachal Bhavan from a HRTC A/C bus that I boarded in Shimla on 25 June 2008 at 9PM. The cold breeze coming out of the vents on the roof of the bus soon went away with the Bus. The sudden change in the temperature soon traveled up my body to my rough hair and then suddenly, to my surprise, I saw a metro station.
6:00 AM
Waited for the Metro Counters to open and then suddenly my beautiful ( deer like ) eyes stopped at a lady, wearing blue shirt and a tie. The stare was so intense that i couldn’t stop my feet from moving towards that lady. I was completely lost and the only word I could say to her was, ” University ! “. This lovely word made her reply immediately and her beautiful lips threw out only two words that was about to change the economic condition of the country. “12 rupees”, she said and i took out a five and a ten rupee note from my fake leather wallet and she gave me a token and again looked at me with a hope and said “platform no 2″. I will never forget that graceful moment that i shared with her.
6:30 PM
I came out of the metro station. Out in the open, and was relieved to see the the same sky that I left behind over the head of those trustworthy people standing near mandi house bus stand. The same grayish orange sky that made me cry and made my cloths dry with its powerful friend, the wind. I was out alone in the silent sound of the high pitched horns of the vehicles. The silence of the noisy crowded street was killing me with loneliness and the only sound i could hear was the inner voice of my heart that was calling the name of that single person. Yes, I am talking about the metro girl. The inner voice soon faded away with a loud call of a rickshaw driver. “kahan jaaoge”, he said in a bihari tone. The irony in the melody between the two words was so intense that AR Rehman could compose a song with those two words. The word was said with an expression that couldn’t be judged by a normal person. But I ain’t no normal person. I am an angel, an angel with its wings so pure, that they could wash the dirty dishes of a Chinese restaurant, and that too in only 5 hours.
7:00 PM
Still roaming around the north campus. Analyzing the pointed face of the stay dogs of delhi. The conic shaped face almost made an angle of 45 degree at the vertex. The geometry in the face of the dogs was obvious as they were living outside the Mathematics Block of Hindu College. As soon as I could apply pythagorious theorem on these dogs, they went away like two professors going away after a mathematics class. Then suddenly my stomach sent a message through my nervous system to my brain the provoked my urge to eat something………….
Enough! I can’t continue with this crap.
Cheerz !!!
